This item in my EBAY store is a FENTON MARIGOLD CARNIVAL GLASS  “HEART & VINE”  PLATE with the  “COMPLIMENTS of SPECTOR’S DEPARTMENT STORE”  ADVERTISEMENT.   This FENTON advertising plate is antique glass that has survived well over 100 years of survival and because of age has now become a beautiful family heirloom piece of glass;   Folks this very much sought after “SPECTOR’S DEPARTMENT STORE” advertising plate is just the way this plate left the FENTON ART GLASS COMPANY many years ago, this plate is in excellent condition having NO chips, cracks, scratches, and NO glass staining;

is an early FENTON vintage antique carnival glass “HEART & VINE” plate that has been used and displayed over many years and still remains in beautiful heirloom condition, surely the couple of people who have once owned this beautiful heirloom antique piece of glass surely cherrished this American beauty according to the condition this carnival glass plate remains in today;
I want to mention that this FENTON advertising plate that I have here does have the early carnival glass era characteristics of the early carnival glass making process having stress marks, straw marks, and air bubbles sometimes seen inside the glass of early carnival glass, these characteristics are from the production of this much sought after plate and is NOT considered damage, all this info I just mentioned to you is shown in the numerous photos but any questions at all please e-mail me;   The carnival iridescence is the satin finish and this plate has twelve sides to it;   Folks it took me thirty five years to get my hands on one of these plates to offer for resale because I do not collect and I am smack in the middle of where this department store used to be in its time, out of Hanover, Pennsylvania, needless to say the only way you can get one of these big boys is out of a collection, this plate may have been in a California collection for all I know;   There is an internal bubble, no harm of course from being produced;   You can see this FENTON much sought after advertising plate that is shown and talked about in one of my many reference materials, one is a hard back book by “Edwards & Carwile” a book on carnival glass, the “STANDARD ENCYCLOPEDIA of CARNIVAL GLASS 7th EDITION, on page #183;   I’ve taken numerous (all) photos outside in natural daylight in different backgrounds in numerous angles & positions to show pattern, COLOR, condition, carnival glass iridescence, & size, hoping to answer any and all questions but if need be you can E-mail me or you can see me on my NEW web site at terrymackeyantiques.com.   When using a cell phone or mobile device please click on “see full description” to see more photos and measurements;   Insurance is bought at the USPS at the time of shipment to you, the cost is $13.25 for the shipping and $1.75 for the insurance.   All stickers on MY FENTON marigold carnival glass  “HEART & VINE”  plate with the “COMPLIMENTS of SPECTOR’S DEPARTMENT STORE”  sent to you must remain on MY
