DAY ONE
Find your own way to Ho Chi Minh City Airport and we will transfer you to your hotel to relax and acclimatize to the new time zone for today.  Commonly known as Saigon, HCMC is a city in southern Vietnam famous for the pivotal role it played in the Vietnam War. It’s also known for its French colonial architecture, including Notre-Dame Basilica, made entirely of materials imported from France, and the neoclassical Saigon Central Post Office. Food stalls line the city’s streets, especially around bustling Ben Thanh Market for your own exploration.
DAY TWO
Enjoy a half day city tour in the morning with visits to Reunification Palace, the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office. Pass by City Hall, the old Opera House (from outside). Conclude the day at Central Ben Thanh market. DAY THREE
Explore Saigon on your own today or join the optional excursion to My Tho with a boat trip to Mekong River islands (Advance Booking required).
DAY FOUR
Check out of hotel before noon and bid farewell to Vietnam to continue the trip onto Denpasar, capital of the exotic island province of Bali. Bali is a popular tourist destination, known for its forested volcanic mountains, iconic rice paddies, beaches and coral reefs. Depending on the air schedule, the arranged flight may either depart in the early morning or late evening with overnight on board to arrive Bali on the next day in the morning.
DAY FIVE
Spend a day discovering the natural beauty and ancient relics of the Balinese midlands. Start the day with a visit to Pura Taman Ayun, the 17th century temple of Mengwi, set in a beautiful park with trees and ponds full of lotus blossoms. The large spacious temples and multi-tiered shrines are surrounded by a wide, elegant moat. Continue to Bedugul, a village in the central highlands famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes. Stroll around the traditional market where a myriad of fruits, vegetables, orchids, exotic spices and souvenirs are for sale. At the nearby Lake Bratan photograph the Ulun Danu temple, built on small islands in the serene lake. In the afternoon drive southwards to the famous UNESCO Heritage Site – the rice terraces of Jatiluwih. Trek through this area of green stepped rice fields and hear about the Subak irrigation system that has been preserved by the Balinese farmers for centuries. Return to your hotel via scenic route.

DAY SEVEN

DAY EIGHT
A Free day relax at the beach. Or Join our optional tour: Volcano, Temple and Terrace Full Day Tour – During this full day tour discover the culture, countryside and stunning scenery of Bali. Start the day with a performance of the famous Barong and Keris Dance. This traditional Balinese dance narrates the fight between good and evil and is a classic example of the Balinese way of blending myth and history into one reality. Drive to Tampak Siring to visit the unique temple of Gunung Kawi. Set at the bottom of a lush green river valley, these 11th century temples feature 10 rock-cut shrines, called candi, carved into the cliff face. The awe-inspiring shrines combine ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple attributes. Walk down the many stairs to the temple taking in the views of the terraced rice fields along the way. Continue to Kintamani set around the rim of the Gunung Batur crater. Look out over Bali’s most active volcano, Mount Batur, which soars over 1800 metres into the sky. In the centre is a beautiful turquoise-green lake, the largest lake of the island. Lunch is at your own expense in a local restaurant with beautiful views. Drive back to the south with a stop in Tegalalang to see Bali’s most iconic rice terraces where a planned a coffee break is scheduled for you. Advance booking is required for all tour options.
DAY NINE
Today is the last day of the tour, say goodbye to Denpasar. Check out of hotel by noon and be transferred to board your own flight home.
