must be 120 Ohms. It will get you within a few percent or better. Use a trimmer if you need better precision or a panel pot if you want it to be externally adjustable.
Notes: Refer to the right schematic above. The current limiter circuit will work equally well with either a positive power supply. Since it is essentially a 2-terminal assemby, you can use with either a positive or negative supply simply by observing polarity. Replace the fixed resistor with a variable resistor and you can make a variable current source.
