1930 ART DECO YARDLEY INVISIBLE TALC POWDER CONTAINER

This nickel-plated & brass ten-sided Yardley London Invisible Talc powder container ( 4 7/8 inches tall X 2 inches X 1 5/8 inches wide) has incised Royal Coat of Arms & “By Appointment Purveyors of Soap to H.M. The King Yardley – London” above “INVISIBLE TALC YARDLEY LONDON” and “Makers & Distributors for U.S.A. Yardley of London Inc. New York Net Weight 4 ozs” at the bottom. The brass push-slide opening cover over six holes has “Push Pat” on one tab and the dates “8-2-25 & 8-1-30” on the other tab. Marks on the surface appear to be in the lacquer coating.
